Alpha-Bits product review
A rave instead of a rant!
I never buy my children name brand cereal. On a tight budget, we shop at Aldi. We get the bulk of our groceries there and fill in what they don't carry at the "name brand" store. The selection of cereals at Aldi is quite limited, but it's always gotten us through. To be honest, I've never bought Alpha-Bits before. For some reason, I always thought it had marshmallows, which is as bad as giving your kid candy for breakfast. When I opened my BzzAgent package last night, I was nicely surprised to see it looked healthy AND educational. As soon as I saw Whyatt on the box, the "Wonderific" song ran through my head - I admit it, I love that show. I think it's brilliant and my kids like it too - though maybe not as much as me. I immediately opened the box and my kids flocked around me like I had just pulled a bowl of popcorn out. My 1 year old, who refuses all dry cereals and baby puffs other than Cheerios, shoved them into her mouth by the handful. Most impressive was that she stood unsupported while shoveling the cereal into her pie hole. This is the girl who thinks her legs are only good for crawling. The cereal was lightly sweetened, but not sugary over-sweet. I buy cereal based on my preferences, and I think Alpha-Bits will be going on my grocery list from now on. I don't know about my kids, but I find eating the alphabet fun :)
As part of being a BzzAgent, I received a sample box of Alpha-Bits and coupons. My opinion is my own, and I'm not shy about giving it.
